The WOC70 Multi-Fuel Boiler operates at a maximum 265,000 BTU/hr output. It can heat any building varying from 3,000 – 7,000 sqft. They are ideal for those searching for a flexible, long-lasting boiler capable of burning a mixture of fuels, including liquid fuels.
The WOC70 can be equipped with an Automatic Switchover feature, which switches from coal to oil if the water temperature falls because of a lack of fire. This option is available only with a fuel oil burner. The Automatic Switchover choice provides you with the flexibility and freedom to be aware that your home will not go cold if you, for example, decide to take a break for the weekend.

Conventionally, Multi-Fuel boilers have been marketed as wood/coal combinations. However, because of EPA Phase 2 rules, these units are no longer marketed for constant use with wood.

Fuel oil backup is standard for WOC models but propane or natural gas back up options are available for an additional cost.Automatic/Manual SwitchingFor #2 fuel oil, the backup system can function in an automatic switch-over scenario, with fuel oil taking over when the boiler has exhausted its coal fuel.
